neus: bloemen, honing, vanille, zoetig, groene zure matten (oftewel esterachtige appel), appel, beetje mout
smaak: mout, bloemen, honing, iets turfigs, hooi
finish: lang, honing, vanille, bourbon
Honing en bourbon, om kort samen te vatten. Maar het werkt wel. Ik zou graag eens een onafhankelijke botteling van Scapa proeven, maar deze whisky is zeer onvindbaar. Dus als iemand een tip heeft: graag.

Ik geloof dat hij zeker drie Independent Bottlers in zijn assortiment heeft, nl G&M, Douglas Laing en Taste Still. De prijzen zijn competitief. Voor zover ik shops ken die ze ook in hun assortiment hebben.

Heb je zelf trouwens ook nog 'oude' tasting notes liggen die je met ons wil delen? Zoals je misschien gezien hebt ben ik mijn hele repertoire aan het posten. Ik denk dat jij zeker wat whisky's geproefd hebt waarvan ik de notities graag zou zien...

Ow, sorry. Dat zijn een soort snoepjes. Als ik een plaatje vind zal ik ze er bij zetten. Van die platte, groene 'lintjes' met zure suiker erop en een synthetische appelsmaak. Was ik een fan van toen ik klein was (en nog steeds wel, al koop ik ze niet meer).

Kijk maar even in de supermarkt (Merk Katja) of bij De Snoepkoerier (waar ik die afbeeldingen ook vandaan heb).
Ik heb de Scapa 14yo nog gesloten staan. Wordt niet meer gebotteld.
