Irish fighter seems to have the drinks business in mind after Las Vegas loss as well as a return to UFC
CONOR McGREGOR swigged his own Notorious-branded whiskey after defeat to Floyd Mayweather – and then vowed to take over the drinks market!
The Irish fighter has already said he plans to return to UFC after being stopped in the tenth round by ‘Money’ in Las Vegas.
And he cut every inch the dapper gentleman after rocking up to his post-fight press conference in a paisley suit and with a bottle of the good stuff.
Taking to the podium, McGregor said: “Notorious Irish whiskey, coming soon.
“I’m going to take over the Irish whiskey market – and this is delicious! Boy that whiskey tastes so good. Oh s***. Keep an eye out for it.”
McGregor – whose defeat means Floyd Mayweather retires with a perfect 50-0 record – showed the bottle to the crowd and drank some from a plastic cup he had with him on stage.
The drinks market looks a very viable business proposition for the first man in UFC history to hold two weight belts simultaneously.
