The label application for the latest creation of John Glaser has hit the TTB database. Compass Box The Spaniard gets its name from the famous West Village Bar in New York City – The Spaniard. According to the information, this very limited edition whisky was created in collaboration with Mikey McFerran, co-owner of The Spaniard.

Compass Box The Spaniard comes from a mixture of first-fill and refill American Oak barrels, sherry butt and new French Oak. As usual with all Compass Box expressions, it is non-chilled filtered and does not contain any colouring additives.
Based on the information provided, the notes that the enthusiasts should expect from Compass Box The Spaniard are ‘Deeply complex aroma of sweet dried fruit and sherry wine with a delicate underlying smokiness. A rich full mouthfeel and a very long finish, hinting of fruit, wood and light smoke.’
