When it comes to verifying bottles, our only real concern is that the bottle contains the liquid that it claims to, and there is no doubt that is a genuine bottle of Yamazaki 18 Year Old.
We are not stating that the engraving on the bottle was commissioned by either the I.O.C or Suntory, simply that it was done to mark the 2020 Tokyo games.
Beyond that, all we can advse is that if you are not comfortable with the bottle's provenance, then you don't have to bid on it.
