Hi guys,

my name is Kai and I love whisky like the most of you. I'm writing in english because I'm not from the Netherlands and at the moment I'm not able to write dutch. I'm from Hamburg/Germany and I am here because:

- I like the dutch bottler (Archives, van Wees, Kintra) and like to talk about.

- I'm in process to learn dutch and here it could be a good lesson for me.

My favourite Whiskies are: all of them

If I have to decide: I love Kavalan Whisky and from Scotland I like mostly Glen Keith and Glendronach.
but you all know, it depends at the quality of each dram.

My nickname is Suriname because it is in other forums the same. I've choose this one because I spent an unforgetable vacation in this country in 2004. Amazing!

Hopefully I'm welcome and that's it.

Hello Kai, long time no see . Welcome at this phenomenal forum!
You'll find a lot of Dutch and Belgium whisk(e)y knowledge here. Most of the people have a button of their WB whisky collection, i know you'll like that kind of info .

Dan houden we het maar op Nederlands, dat is de voertaal hier en dan kun je inderdaad wat leren van zowel Whisky als Nederlands.
Ik kan me voorstellen dat lezen wel gaat maar schrijven wat lastiger is.
En dan heb je natuurlijk Google-translate etc. nog.

Op nederlands is lekker ... Google translate I don't need so far.
In Hamburg snackt we platt and together with english I understand a lot.
