Glasgow .... the city's first dedicated whisky festival.
It will be held at the atmospheric Arches, beneath Glasgow Central Station, on Saturday, November 13, from 1pm to 5pm. There will be a trade-only preview from noon.

First Loch Ness Whisky Festival promises to be a monster success.
The award-winning Fiddler’s Restaurant and Whisky Bar, Drumnadrochit, will host a series of events on Friday and Saturday, May 14 and 15, with tastings, tours and cruises.

Dedicated to the promotion and appreciation of the finest whiskies and to presenting a memorable tasting experience in a comfortable, relaxed and fun environment, The Whisky Show (TWS) strives to bring you the very best whiskies not generally available at other shows.

After the roaring success of our inaugural Show in November 2009, and the subsequent clamour from our Visitors and Exhibitors, we are delighted to be putting on The Whisky Show again in 2010. This year’s show will be taking place at The Brewery near the Barbican in the centre of London and we will be sticking to the principles that helped us make last year’s Show such a success.

The first Glasgow’s Whisky Festival will take place at The Arches on Saturday November 13th 2010.

There will be more than 40 stands in two atmospheric, stone arches featuring Scotland’s best drams, plus whiskies from all over the world. Further stands will offer whisky-related art, books and other items. Robbie’s Drams will be our whisky retailer for the day, where you will be able to purchase whisky you have sampled.

Two masterclasses will run on the day, one from Douglas Laing and the other from Compass Box.

Friday 8 & Saturday 9 April 2011

Celebrating the Highlands and Islands’ finest whiskies within the rustic surroundings of Bogbain Farm. With live Scottish music, ceilidhs, auctions, exhibitions, talks, fine food and of course the best Scottish whisky from various distilleries to taste and ponder – the Inverness Whisky Festival is an exciting new event in the Scottish calendar.

Hans Offringa is ook aanwezig en doet behalve hetgeen nu in de agenda staat: Sat 30 Apr 11, 13:00-17:00: Craigellachie Hotel,.

Op vrijdag 29 april in het Craigellachie Hotel een diner onder de titel "Marriage of Whiskies", met een knipoog naar de Royal Wedding van William & Kate die op dezelfde dag plaatsvindt.
Het diner is een cooperatie van hotel, The Macallan en Hans Offringa.
