Plans are in the pipeline to open a whisky distillery near Cockermouth, creating up to 25 jobs.

Cumbria Distillers Limited plans to create a Cumbrian whisky region with the launch of a distillery at Setmurthy, which will make a single Lakes Malt whisky.
