The premium spirits division of Berry Bros & Rudd has announced an international competition to find four consumers who will be The Glenrothes Whisky Maker for a week.
The successful candidates will be recruited to work as ‘The Glenrothes Whisky Makers’ in Speyside, probably the most prestigious region for scotch whisky.
Entrants will be required to supply their name and personal details and then be invited to answer in 50 words or fewer why they are the perfect candidate for the job. Hundreds of runners-up prizes will be offered too. Entries will be accepted in English, Spanish and Chinese.
The competition will run from October until the end of January 2011. For more details:

Het is een beetje onduidelijk ja, het ene moment praten ze over promising Scotch aficionados,
maar die mogen de aanmelding wel doen in bv Japans of Chinees ????

Ze spreken over Scotch aficionados i.p.v. Whisky aficionados.
Verder staat er overal global, from around the globe, .... dus dat zou wel goed moeten zitten ... lijkt

In het Engels spreken we van Scotch. Dat is dus Whisky. De mensen heten "Scots".
Dus di Scotch afficionado's = "whisky afficionado's" mogen van alles zijn. Zelfs Nederlanders

Zo zo maar kunnen Marco .... en zal ook wel. Ik weet er net zo veel vanaf als jij nu. Op mijn Tweet kwam geen reactie.
Echter is het dan zacht gezegd wel slordig dat je dat niet gewoon aangeeft op die URL. Je gaat toch geen niet bestaande links in een persbericht zetten

in het persbericht staat toch duidelijk vanaf 15 oktober dat de URl in de lucht is......

Dan zet je dat nog steeds op die pagina en activeer je het pas op die datum.
Als je een URL adverteert
moet hij er zijn, punt. Er is al genoeg rotzooi op het Internet. Ik blijf bij mijn standpunt dat ik het dom en onvriendelijk vind het op deze manier te doen.
Maar gezien het niveau van serviceverlening waar ik de laatste weken tegenaan loop (Telfort, gemeente Lelystad, e.a.) begrijp ik dat mijn verwachtingen vaak té klantgericht en té hooggespannen zijn. Ik word al weer kwaad als ik aan wat nog lopende zaken denk
