Lost and Found is our series dedicated to whiskies rediscovered among old, forgotten, or overlooked stock.
This remarkable Ben Nevis spent 25 years maturing at Ben Nevis Distillery. A private owner bottled the cask in 2001, then set it aside for a quarter century.
When we tasted it in 2026 and heard its unique backstory, we just knew we needed to share it with you. We rebottled the whisky in 2026, and the Lost and Found series was born.
The label features an illustration of the Zeus Faber, or John Dory, first published in Vol. 1 of Edward Donovan's The Natural History of British Fishes (1802).
